Norman's First Garage

1924: Norman L. Bergey purchases an old blacksmith shop and converted it into a 2-car garage

1925: Norman builds a more expansive garage where Bergey’s Corporate Office is today

- Norman hires his first employee

Norman Begins to Build the Business

1934: Norman builds Franconia Restaurant and barbershop

1936: Norman acquires franchise from General Tire

- Norman converts barn to frame shop

1939: Norman purchases Veranda Hotel and barn

1943: Norman builds 100 ft. addition to the garage

- Bergey’s purchases Souderton Dodge and moves the dealership to Franconia

2002: Bergey’s Truck Centers purchases Keystone Mack in Conshohocken

- Bergey’s Truck Centers purchases Horner Mack in Pennsauken and Vineland, NJ
